Mercy's Gate
Mercy’s Gate has been serving El Paso County since 1982 by providing life-affirming Direct Services Support, ongoing resources and education, and a growing network of community referrals and partnerships to individuals and families facing crisis.
Kid's Hope USA
At Kids Hope USA, we believe that all kids matter to Jesus and that the local church is uniquely called to care for children in their community who would benefit from another caring, reliable relationship.
Family Promise
Family Promise realizes its mission by providing families with children experiencing homelessness shelter and meals utilizing existing community resources, and building upon those basic needs through offerings of intensive case management and comprehensive wrap-around services. Family Promise’s primary goal is to empower families with children to permanently transition into independent affordable housing; secondary goals include meeting families’ housing needs in the most cost-effective manner possible and providing congregations with an opportunity to put their faith into action. New City Kids
New City Kids offers after school programming for local low-income youth. Children and teens get a chance to explore music and academics in a creative and fun environment. Though there are many challenges of urban life, especially for youth, these programs give children a safe place to feel and hear that they are valued and loved. New City Kids aims to draw children into hope by developing in them skills, talents, and desires for their future. By surrounding them with a community of love and development, we strive to set youth up for success.
Young Life in Africa
Joy Engelsmann
Joy Engelsmann serves as a Leadership and Evangelism Trainer for Africa, teaching and inspiring youth workers across the continent of Africa. Using her experience in theology and leadership, Joy writes curriculum and connects with African staff via technology from her home in Denver and travels to consult and lead training events in the Youth for Christ nations in Africa. Joy previously served with YFC USA for 10 years, creating training material and events. She then earned a Masters of Divinity from Denver Seminary and has been a pastor since 2004. Light Sys
LightSys™ is a fellowship of believers serving and praying together for spiritual fruitfulness and the fulfillment of Jesus’ Great Commission. We partner in the evangelization of the world by providing IT consulting, training, software development, and missions mobilization, to equip missions and missionaries and provide the knowledge and contacts needed to support their technology. We desire to see missionaries serving with greater effectiveness, keeping their mind on their task, not their computers, thus redeeming technology — for God’s Kingdom.
